@@danielburns01 people's circumstances can change significantly between when the older kids are taken away and when the older one is born - for example, leaving an abusive relationship that endangered the children, getting sober or getting help for mental health problems. Also, as awful as this will sound, some parents really are a danger to one child but not the other. This may be the case if one of the couple is a step-parent to one child and parent to another, and is abusive towards the step-child, or if there are male and female children and a parent is only abusive to children of one sex. Alternatively, if it's more a case of neglect, an older child may be able to feed and bathe themselves as long as food and toiletries are available, whereas a younger child can't. An old coworker of mine told me about her brother having his younger children taken away, but the older children (teenagers, old enough to reasonably walk to school by themselves or put a ready meal in the microwave) were allowed to choose whether they stayed with their parents or went with their younger siblings into foster care (they chose to stay with the parents, and my coworker wasn't happy about that fact, but older children do get given some choice). The sad fact is, sometimes kids really do get treated differently from each other, and sometimes they get treated the same when they need to be treated differently, i.e. leaving both a 14 year old and a 6 year old to walk to school alone.

@@fyrefairy123 Allowing a child to witness you abusing the other child is abuse. So no, there is no way to be a danger to one child and not the other. You're, at minimum, screwing up the other one mentally even if you're not directly abusing them. Not to mention when you take the scapegoat child away, they might transfer that all to the remaining child. I moved back into my parents house from an abusive relationship. Where my sister and her 6 month old baby was living. That was in my partying days. One day my sister left and never came back and left her baby. That was the end of my partying days. I stayed at my parents and helped raise that kid for 6 years before I got married and moved back out. After the day she was left with us my life changed. I got a really good job with really good insurance. Stopped partying all together. Stopped dating and ended up finding the love of my life. Plan was to start dating after she turned 18. My husband is amazing, and a great father to his 2 kids who are officially considered adults now. My parents got custody when she was 8 years old. But she lived in their house her entire life. She knew my parents as her parents and thought of me as a sister. If anything happens to my parents, I will get custody. But I’m hoping that doesn’t happen. But she did ask if she turns 18 if she can live with me. I said yes. She’s 12 now. I don’t understand how people can treat kids that way. I had one fall into my lap outta no where. That kid changed my life for the better. Every choice I made, I had only one question. How will it effect this little girl? She’s gone through so much at such a young age. I just wanted to protect her from anything bad. If it wasn’t for her, I would not be doing as well in life as I am now. I make sure she knows that. She made me a better person.

I can kiiinda understand that mindset though. I am 27 and childfree. It's not that I hate kids, I just know I am too selfish to put my whole soul into caring for another human being, especially as dependent as a baby or a toddler. And very often when I tell people that, I get countered by an argument 'ohh I thought just like you before I had mine, you just have to have a child yourself and you will see'. And then I think: okay, I conceive and I realise I am still too selfish and now I actually have a screaming baby in my responsibility (I absolutely hate sharp noises to the point it makes me irrational sometimes). What if a baby is crying and my brain decided that instead of tending to them, I have to solve the screaming problem by putting a baby down in a crib and closing the door behind me or worse, not to hear wailing in the background, I'd decide to leave the house altogether for a while? Some people (like me) know they are absoutely unfit to be parents, like, *seriously* unfit and some people are unfit yet it becomes obvious they're unfit after they conceive. Not all adults would make good parents just because they're adults.

What's really weird is there was a character in one of my novels who was just like Sprinsky - an addict yes, but also a big loveable lug of a guy, and I'd named him Linsky lol. Beyond that, you as a mom are responsible for the kinds of people you bring into your life and your child's life. I stayed single for 20+ years raising mine is how creeped out I am by men out there. Sure, there are good men, but I wasn't about to gamble those odds, given the information I had to work with via past experience. When you are a heroin addict, you feel like you need it like you need water and oxygen. You definitely use when you get up to start the day. Then you definitely use to go to sleep. That's twice. Then, it wears off after a few hours so 4 times is typical for everyone and just like smokers or drinking, you have people who do a little and people who do a lot. My average was around 4-6 times a day. At minimum. So happy to be clean. ❤ 27 months clean and going strong!

Yeah it’s true lol and also when they say it’s weird that the mom and bio dad did a bag together before they went to talk to a lawyer like that’s a bad thing. I mean they obviously had to do it before they went and looked normal to a lawyer lol. It’s sad but it’s just the way it is when you’re in the throes. Super sad case though and I feel like the mom is also guilty more than the official report suggests.

Also depends on how much you use each time. Some use half a bag and some do a whole bundle and some just do enough not to be sick. I'm on methadone and haven't touched heroin in almost 10 years. Some just don't understand how it is...

@@wms72 I genuinely respect your right to your belief. But why should this child’s life have been the testing ground for the Free Will of these failed human beings? Where is there any grace in that? People who believe in the biblical god always give him credit for good and bad things that occur. If that’s the case, then he must take responsibility for this child’s miserable life and death. Religion is the opiate,of the masses…just another drug to keep people from freaking out at the possibility that we are here, on our own, just because we are here. Humans do not need to believe in a god in order to behave humanly. That is just my opinion. And here’s the thing about that…i understand that I could be wrong. People who believe in the mythical god will never admit that they might be wrong. If it gives them comfort to believe, I am not someone who would try to take that comfort away from them. It's horrible to lose a pet it's like losing a family member. I had an awful scare last week. My cat wasn't breathing right and refused to eat so we went to vet and they did x-rays of his chest and saw fluid around his lungs, they drained out 2 cups worth of fluid, and then 2 days later another almost 2 cups of fluid drained again. They recommended I take him to a cardiologist, or just put him to sleep. I picked the cardiologist. At this point he wasn't eating, drinking, breathing right, or doing anything but laying down. I was terrified. The cardiologist looked at his heart with an ultrasound machine thing, and saw his heart was in bad shape, he had a heart murmur, and very thick walls of the heart on the left side, they diagnosed him with severe Hypertrophic cardiomyopothy, with congestive heart failure, it most likely is hereditary cuz his father has a significant heart murmur (the father was diagnosed with that a year ago and has been ok so far). So now my kitty is on a bunch of daily med's and aspirin twice a week (he's not loving the meds). I see a significant improvement, he's eating, drinking, gaining his weight back (at one point he was a skeleton with skin, that happened literally overnight) and up walking around, even being playful with the other cats. I never thought he would bounce back after how he was. I thank the doctor for performing miracles. And we pray that he will only get better from here on. There's always a chance that he could just die at any time but for now we take it one day at a time, he's a tough little guy, only 3 years old it's too soon for him to go, I'm glad he got a second chance. And over time the medication can significantly improve his heart function and he can live years from now. I'm just thankful to have him as long as he'll be here. I can't imagine being without him tho. His name is Charlie, he's a black and white tuxedo pattern cat, and hes Such a sweet loving smat boy. Yearly vet checkups are super important to catch any issues with pets asap so they can get the help they need before things get too far. Always keep up with the vet for any pets.

I tried walking my cats on a leash and they weren't having any of that, I want to get a stroller or kitty backpack to be able to take them with me places. When my cats were kittens they used to come to the store with me and on car rides and everything, now they would kill me lol. I have 9 indoor cats and 8 outdoor neighborhood cats that I feed and care for. It's a lot of work and money but it's worth it, plus I don't have kids or much of a family, and I don't like shopping or going out much, so I have the extra money to spend on them. I have had bi-polar disorder all my adult life.My first child's father was an extreme verbally/emotionally abusive man.I was just 21 with my 1st born trying to navigate my way through this newfound illness that I didn't fully understand. And although I had been going through postpartum depression, aside from the verbal abuse I never once thought of causing any harm to my son or my pets for that matter.I did spank him a couple of times, and put myself on a guilt trip over it.A typical spanking! I remarried ,and ended up in another abusive relationship. This time the guy has a drug addiction.I became pregnant with my 2nd child. This time I got rid of the 1ST problem,my husband. got myself into a mental health day program.got the right meds, and prepared for my new baby.I was 40 at the time.I made a conscious decision to not enter into a new relationship.although neither of my 2 ex husbands were ever abusive with children,I chose to not go for a third strike. At best I could have met a nice guy,who ended up not being right for me.I didn't want my son to get attached to someone and then have to explain that so and so is going away. But I had a great fear of bringing someone into my son's life who could possibly become abusive. My son is 18 years old now,and we've lived a happy and safe life together.I thank God that I made that decision.I kept my son safe, and spared myself from possibly another nightmare. These monsters who did this to this precious angel should face midieval punishment! (He) is the Devil, and (She) is the demon who let it happen.was she that desperate for a man?Cats make better mother's! 🤬 I cant stop crying. this is soo heartbreaking.Rest in peace you precious angel,in the arms of sweet Jesus.✝️♥️🙏♥️😮

I lived in Boston at this time there were billboards everywhere with those pictures. The screwed up thing was that the photo they generated LOOKED EXACTLY like the actual little girl. The mother had a bunch of other children that were taken by social services so she told her neighbors and her mother that Bella got taken too when she was “missing” which made it so no one called and said it was her because they all thought she was in dcyf custody. So fucked up I remember driving by those billboards everyday He claimed to have beaten the demons out of her and she was in the fridge for like a week before they dumped her. So fucked up the mother was not innocent she covered for her boyfriend over her own child.

I've heard of this case before. It's heartbreaking. If some dude killed my kid, I'd be doing everything I could to escape and alert the police.

As a mom, I would give my life for my babies, without a doubt. To stay with someone that not only hurt but killed your child... there should be a much higher price to pay for her. How the hell did no other adults notice her missing. They are all to blame.

Who lets strang men move into a state funded apt we taxpayers pay for with a younger female child. Why not just give her up to give her the life she deserves. Her mother was very mentality I'll. HeartbreakingThat woman was stuck in a cycle of fear abuse and so was her poor baby. It's such a sad sad reality for many children

I am so sorry....I got to unsubscribe. You guys make awesome, well-researched videos. It just sucks to hear all the "bad". Not your guys' fault, just whenever I look at my three year old grandson makes me fear more and more for his future. How could anyone kill a baby? Let alone put up with such a lowlife for a boyfriend....someone who you bring around your daughter, supposably the most precious, important person in your life. SMH ... nobody is safe it seems.

I truly understand. These videos are hard to stomach, especially involving kids. If you're still interested in following us cover cases that don't involve children, we have our second channel here: www.youtube.com/@TheMiseryMachinePlus Be well.

Mom lost TWO children before and was in full addiction when carrying her third. At what point do we start holding Mom responsible for these gifts we are given to nurture and protect? After 2 children, 4, 10 after serious injury, multiple unaliving? I understand the addiction but obviously she needed for herself more than for her children it’s just the facts. The guy was a piece of of… but mommas need to understand their little ones are blessings and need to stop getting passes which they throw away.
