She'll be fine. It happens here and there. My only suggestions would be to offer her something smaller and possibly skip a week of offering to her (my former difficult girl used to get real indignant when everyone else's tubs got opened on feed night and hers didn't). That's the hardest part for me, though; knowing they've missed x number of meals and intentionally denying them makes me feel like a jerk. Sometimes it's gotta be about the tough love, though. Anyway, I'm not concerned about your girl, there. You're like me, in that you worry too much. It's way harder on folks like us than it is on the snakes. She'll be fine and then you'll breathe easy again. Sometimes I think they do this stuff on purpose, just to make us feel like bad keepers! Lol Anyway, keep up the good work. They're doing great! P.S. My Mocha Pastel girl hit 1404 grams last week and my Nuclear het Clown boy has been up to size for a while. Looks like I'll be trying for some BELs, Fireflies, Butterflies, etc this season. Wish me luck!

Can be an issue for many and l had my Jungle go off food for months so l ended up offering her chick and she ate it. Since then she has never taken a rat again but will eat mice and being a big girl she needs quite a few each meal as well. l currently have two spotteds that wont take a meal for me and been a couple of months but they are in full breeding mode.

I was a bit weary about offering my girl a mouse thinking she might start only taking mice. I wanted her to eat it but at the same time was kind of relieved when she didn’t.

I'm trying to swap rats for mice with my Enchi. Still has not taken a fuzzy yet. Any tips on that as I notices you said you did the same with your Enchi Clown . Great vid bud!

Man just keep trying lol. Seems like one day they just decide they want rat. That’s kind of how it went for me with mine. With my albino girl I actually gave her a week off when she refused a rat and the week after she took it and never looked back.

@@JLGReptiles how long would i recommend i leave her in a separate enclosure before i try feed her?

Sammie Baxter probably about a week to let them get settled in and used to having their own space.

@@sammiebaxter8186 Give her a solid week after swapping. That will give her time to realize she's safe and will (more likely) be willing to start looking for food. It's just like when you first get one. Every time you make a big change in a Ball Python's world, figure on at least a week before they calm down enough to eat. On the plus side, a new enclosure means a new "hunting ground," so it should make her curious, at least.
