If you want to see Robin shine, "Ellan Vannin". And Maurice sings the lead on "Man In The Middle". And speaking of country music...check out "Lay It On Me", which is also all Maurice...it's pretty funny. The is one of my favorite BeeGees songs Another one is Fanny Be Tender with my Love which is probably my favorite. Another favorite you have reacted to which is Immortality that they wrote and performed with Celine Dion When the disco hate happened to them (very wrongly too) they wrote number one hits for countless singers and groups, They have a history of different songs prior to being asked to write for Saturday Night Fever which seems to be forgotten. I never tire of seeing their performances time and time again. It is so sad that Barry is left alone now. They were one of the best groups of all time.

So glad you're listening to some of the newish songs, to see they are WAY more than just disco! It seems that all the reactors including you, who are experiencing the Bee Gees for the first time are getting the same feeling from their songs and appreciate how awesome they have always been. I'd like you to react to, " One", and ,"Alone". During their respite after the disco era, the boys went crazy with their songwriting. They wrote for other artists and one of the biggest was, "Islands in the Stream" for Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Being from Texas I am sure you have heard it a million times not knowing that the Bee Gees wrote it.

You should have a listen to BeeGees Turn out the Lights and then The Gibb Collective version of it. The Gibb Collective was an album brought out after Robin's death as a tribute to their fathers. This song has Barry's eldest son Steven, Robin's eldest son Spencer, Mo's daughter Sammy and Adam his son and Andy's daughter Peta. They did an awesome job of this song. They are well worth listening to.

Their next venue after this was in Adelaide, SouthAustralia, and I got to see them in concert for the first time. It was in a relatively small venue (our tennis stadium) and it was brilliant! Got to see them up close and I was on a high for quite a long time after it finished. This was the song they finished the concert with…their final encore, and it’s always been one of my favourites. I played their music all the way home and had this song on a single 45 record and played that as soon as I got home. I was lucky enough to also see them in Sydney in 1999 and to meet and speak to Robyn on Manly Beach the day before that concert. Definitely one of the highlights of my life.

Actually some of the lead was shared but Barry and Robin but blend like one. Robin's counterpoints near the end spice it up a bit. Mo does his harmony and counterpoints too. The lyrics say he's "going to break down your defenses one by one, hit you from all sides, lay your fortress open wide" 😲😲 and when that happens he'll be ready. A Robin song, Ellan Vannin with King's College Choir. He was frail and near the end of his life but the voice and sentiment to his birthplace, The Isle of Man, was so heartfelt!! 💔He was a proud Manx. kzitem.info/news/bejne/pXt5y3trpoyAnX4

Nr. 1 hit all over the world, except US. Why? Think US-radiostations were afraid of bringin' them back into hotspot. Didn't want to be conquered again. And their US-record company didn't produce enough copies. The limited edition they gave to the stores were sold out in one week. And they didn't produce or deliver more.

You did Robin’s, I Started A Joke? I have to go and find it now. Now Robin singing Massachusetts please? All three were prolific song writers. Barry didn’t often let someone else sing lead. That is why Australia is letting you keep him. No, not really. It must be hard for him to be the eldest with his three brothers gone. I am the eldest of six, my baby brother was 5 years older than my son. We lost him three years ago and I know how hard that is. Thank you. Bee Gees first appearance in 1963. About the third song Barry wrote the song. They were called the Bee Gees because they are Barry’s initials. kzitem.info/news/bejne/ppipu55pqH1iqoo
