Chinese style Cambodian noodles are famous because of the complex flavors of pork bones, dry shrimp, dry squid, fried garlic and rice noodles. It’s simple yet delicious and cheap and that’s what makes it really good in my opinion. Also the fried bread “Cha kway” and pickled chili. You get get it in all over Long Beach Cambodia town.

Guys I'm loving this series, giving me so many ideas to visit these hidden gems in Chinatown, when I can travel to the Big Apple 🍎 from England when this COVID is over. Glad you featured Ice Cream Factory, the durian flavour is great, but I must recommend the Dan Tart flavour(HK egg tart) and taro flavours.

There's actually a dollar dumpling store at henry street 25b it's called Jin Mei Dumpling and there are so many cheap foods there. All the food is 5 dollars and under. 4 dumplings for 1 dollar. You guys have to try out the beef noodle soup for only 5 dollars though. Also the beef sesame pancake for only 2 dollars. You should include it in the next hidden gem, its a real hole in the wall.

The lady who runs the place on Mosco Street is amazing at the upsell. The 17 dumplings for $5 is a pandemic special, it’s normally like 5 dumplings for $1.50, but she’ll give you an extra 2 and charge you $2 for everything instead of giving you change. She’s where I get my frozen dumplings from.

Fired dumpling used to be my go to spot on the weekend or whenever I was in Chinatown because it used to be $1 for 5 but they raised the price and tasty dumpling was 25 cents more for $1.25 for 5 and the quality of the dumpling look better but for the price I go to Fried dumpling. Also, if you old school Chinatown or grow up going to Chinatown, you know that Tasty dumpling used to be down the block next to mama or the new hotel there until they move to a bigger location which is the current location now.
