Learning to relax your body on demand is a skill and needs to be practiced, letting the body and mind drift into deep relaxation allows the body to heal.
I use this style of relaxation regularly, especially in the morning before a freediving session with a visualisation of the target dive added also.
In this video I guide you through a yoga Nidra style - body scan & muscle relaxation.
The key is not to drift off into sleep but to stay lightly focused enough to visualise your body through out the whole guided body scan.
Once fully relaxed, we will visualise and strengthen the immune system, and heal any areas that may be of pain or worry.
This video will be most affective when repeated often and used before sleeping for a deep sleep.
