You make it look easy. Blown away as every vid for now. The Ducati by the way is awesome and really changing my attitude on how carbon fiber parts can look. They look bombastic!

Wow… your work is incredible! These videos inspire me. I just bought a gl1200 for $600, lol. It’s in surprisingly good condition. It has 100,000+ miles so I pulled the engine and just started to do work on it. All your videos have given me a lot of pointers. Thanks so much!

Hey! I’m so glad my videos are useful for you. Thanks so much for your compliment. I appreciate it a lot. I hope you’re enjoying your your Goodwing build. I couldn’t work and post many videos of the gl build recently, but I can tell you more content is coming soon. Just for the heads up I’ll try to fit a single sided swingarm on to my old lady. Thinking of using a bmw 1200gs rear end 🤔 Keep going with your build! 🏍🛠🤘

Hey Luke It would be great to hang with someone how's also loves motorcycles and custom work. Unfortunately I'm based in England. I've been planing to visit CA. Maybe sometime in the future we can catch up for a beer. The build have been put on rest. I do have the ideas and dreams ready for my build, but I do have to get my business running up first. All the money running in to that. Hopefully soon I can get back rolling on to that project again.

I don't understand how the overlapping sections of prepeg didn't delaminate under vacuum without using an internal vacuum bag?

Hello great videos I have a question I'm about to get a killer deal on this roll its a 50" x25Y Carbon Fiber PrePreg 12k 2x2Twill Weave I was doing some research and it said I don't need a vacuum to make the parts that I want to make is that possible also how can I dry this kind of carbon-fiber can I just use a heat gun or will it just dry on its own after I put it on whatever Parts I want to put it on if you don't mind me asking or helping me out with this thank you
@zrcarbon9937

Hey man! Sounds like a scam. Is it from China? I never heard or seen prepreg used without compressed pressure or vacuum. That just not exist. Also if you thinking to use the prepreg to skin parts don’t do that. The prepreg not designed for that. The prepreg need a consistent temperature for curing. The data sheet should tell you how long and what temperature. The heat gun won’t work. What job would you like to carry out with CF?
@co4988
2 жыл бұрын
Hey bro thank you for getting back to me so for the prepreg carbon fiber I do need a vacuum and a oven for it then correct. Its not like the cloth were you don't need that Al you need it the resin? Also I was only asking because I saw some videos on youtube saying that its not needed
@co4988
2 жыл бұрын
So the roll is from Composite envisions and its new 50"×25Y the person went out of business and he is hooking me up for just $100 for it so do you think I should not get it? Keep in mind I don't have a shop im planning on DIY it myself
@zrcarbon9937
2 жыл бұрын
Hey man! I wouldn’t buy it. The prepreg carbon fiber has a use before date. It has to be stored in freezer because of the resin inside. The resin will hardens slowly if it isn’t stored properly. It will be just rubbish. If you would like to skin parts there is a lot cheaper way. Could you please send me those video links. I’m very curious. 👊🤟
