Real rock and roll-just as it should be played. What a great writer and performer he was. First saw him in 1968 in Edinburgh, Scotland and was hooked. Subsequently met him several times and was amazed at how humble and gracious he was. A true southern gentleman.

It could be a 1956, the last year they used P-90s, the Bigsby would have probably been an after market addition. Although Gibson would do it too, for more money. I've watched other videos where he was playing a Gold Top with P-90s and a trapeze tail piece. That would make it a 1952 or 53. All worth big bucks today. Truly a COOOL CAT!

Kindest Trip : what I Quoted was what Paul McCartney said. Paul was a huge Carl Perkins fan before the Beatles.. Also Eddie Cochran was a huge influence on Paul McCartney. I certainly didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. Paul knew all the words to Twenty Flight, that impressed John Lennon. Hope I didn't ruffle anyone's feathers. These are just little fun facts for entertainment only. I know I'll pay the price for this comment. You can go back in your "safe place" now
