Frying oil:
2 litre
Poaching Liquid:
Chicken Fingers: 1 (1 lb or 450 g)
Chicken stock cube: 1
Salt: 1 tsp
Garlic Powder: 1 tsp
Onion Powder: 1 tsp
White Pepper: 1/4 tsp
Water: 1 cup or 250 ml (enough to cover the chicken)
Cooking Wine: 1 tbsp (optional)
Batter:
Egg: 1
Garlic Powder: 1 tsp
Ground White Pepper: 1/4 tsp
Cayenne Pepper: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Corn Starch: 1/4 cup or 30 g
Water: 1 cup or 250 ml
Stir Gently, then faster, then add
Flour: 1 1/4 cup or 150 g (You can also use self-rising flour as well, by decreasing the amount of baking powder by 1/2.)
When well mixed and really thick
Veg. Oil: 3 tbsp
Baking Powder: 1 tbsp
