In this video we'll explore the beautiful city of Puebla, in Puebla State, Mexico. Puebla is known for it's many colorful and historical buildings, poblano cuisine, towering cathedrals, and Talavera pottery, among many other forms of art.
Today I'll take you to Calle de Los Dulces, or "sweet street," which is lined with candy and sweet shops, and I'll try some of Puebla's tortitas de Santa Clara. At the end of sweet street is the Barrio del Artista (Artist Neighborhood), where you can watch painters and sculptors creating various masterpieces right in front of you! Finally we'll stop at the Biblioteca Palafoxiana, the oldest library in the Americas.
If you're headed to Puebla, I'd recommend staying at Casa Pepe. It's a hostel, but they have private rooms as well, and you can join them for different events throughout the week, including walking tours. Check them out here: prf.hn/l/KXyvDqp
You can also do free walking tours with Estacion Mexico in Puebla, as well as in Mexico City, and Oaxaca: www.estacionme...
Puebla (and the neighboring Cholula) are also popular destinations as day trips from Mexico City. You can book a full-day combined tour of the two cities here: www.getyourgui...
And if you missed my last video on Cholula, which is about 20 minutes from Puebla, be sure to check it out next! • CHOLULA, Puebla: Chur...
