It all looks great! I make a brussel sprout salad with craisins, pecans, and a maple vineigrette dressing. Cracker Barrel had a brussel sprout and kale salad for a while and I made up my own recipe. I slice the brussel sprouts thin with a mandolin, add the craisins and chopped pecans. Dressing is real maple syrup, olive oil, and red wine vinegar.

For preserves, cut or chop your fruit into pieces closer to 1/2" to 1" cubes or chops. Chopped fruit actually looks and cooks better. With the smaller sized fruit, if the preserves don't set up (well) they can become labeled conserves as they come out of the jar.

English muffins, biscuits, pancakes/ waffles, the heels of bread ehich will sop up and thinner preserves around the fruit. They taste great when scooped onto hot buttered corn bread in enough quantity that you need a knife and fork. The fruit on the bottom yogurt is basically yogurt into of a conserve or preserve. Dump a dollup in the center of drop biscuits or muffins as if they were thumb print cookies. Speaking of which deoending on the size of the fruit and the amount of sugar, use preserves to make stained glass or thumb print cookies.

It is Dec 24th, but i realized ive missed you and am now catching up. Some 6 months later, i am so glad you picked up that produce. Between chickens and compost pile you cant go wrong. In the summer when there are more concerns of winged insects and smells, veggie pit stuff. Dig a hole, dump, and cover with a good 1 to 2 inches of dirt.

Cam, you are an amazing young woman! Great video. Love seeing all the canning, etc. A lot of Life Skills I do not possess and have never done. At almost 70, I don't know how I've made it this far. I'll attribute it to Grace. I do have a suggestion. Instead of using all the sugar, perhaps try a sugar alternative, like Swerve, Stevia, Erythritol, Allulose , etc. Just a thought. xo
