Really enjoyed seeing and hearing this. Fun hearing Bill Bailey again.

Any Hurricane fan should contact John Fisher (who posted this video) to order his newly released book, "The Connecticut Hurricanes"! Pictures, memories, and all the inside stories of one of the corps that made the activity what it has become, with BYFBO renditions of classic pieces such as Rhapsody in Blue and many more. A well researched, well written, and most important, well lived love letter to a great corps and a great activity.

That's an amazing compilation of film. Walk on the Wild side and the drum solo into Hang 'Em High is worth the price of admission. Well done.

Very nice tribute. I remember being 'fitted' with one of the old black uniforms in Oct 1958 at the old rehearsal hall on Howe Avenue in Shelton (the Clark Building?). Pretty sure the photo was taken in North Haven High School in Jan (?) 1959. Nice to be able to recognize Art Hylwa, Tom Brady and others in this shot.

Love it, just love it! I can watch a Sr. Drum and Bugle corp any day over the Junior Corps that look more like a Broadway Play on a football field. The Hurc's horn line was so clean and their M & M just makes me smile. The kick off line, the 2 minute gun to exit the field while playing hang 'em high and of course killing Stormy Weather. The Hurc's where the bomb! I marched and watched them in the '70's and it was quite a feat to beat the Cab's but the Hurc's did it with superior brass and a killer drum line, so clean!!
