I’ve develop so many muscular skeletal issues after moving to the city 20 years ago. I am back on the land working now. I hate standing in place making repetitive movements. I believe this is reason many don’t do the exercises they need to. When I do these movements working the land, i can do them all day, every day. This is the key. society always collapses when it’s existence is based in concrete jungles and suburbia. I started planting my food on our balcony when we lived in an apartment, start where you are. Now I am working half an acre. Next will be 5 acres. I am Happiest I have been in the last 20 years.

I need to do this. I haven’t left my house in almost seven months since getting hit by a texting driver. Going from being active every day to being forced to sleep just to recover energy and heal from injuries has been a struggle. Sedentary solitude is a disease. I’ve been struggling so much to find the habit of standing and being active since this incident. It’s crazy how much habits can affect your life. Before I got injured, I was a college kid working out six hours a day, dancing three times a week, and following a daily sauna schedule of an hour and 20 minutes. Now, I’m at rock bottom, trying to climb out of the hole I was painfully brought into against my will. There was nothing I could have done to prevent this. I’ve recently been water fasting after gaining 45 pounds because TBIs make you seriously hungry. I’ve also been crawling and doing Marco yoga throughout the day. This week, I started walking for about an hour or more. Slowly, I am regaining my lost habits and becoming more coherent every moment. I realize one essential aspect of healing is being careful with the tides of the ego. Most of our lives are attached to identities, cultivated by nature and nurture. When you strip away your very essence and no longer see that reflection, it can be detrimental to mental health. At first, I was handling it pretty well, but over time, I started giving in to the pleasure of being in so much pain and still recovering. I had set a lot of momentum for myself daily before the accident. I can conclude that consciousness is absolutely essential. It was consciousness that got me into a six-hour fitness routine daily before the incident, and it will get me out. Separating yourself from the ego while acknowledging it as just an aspect of yourself is crucial for healing. I’m not sure who needed to hear this, but it felt good to share, and I hope all of you get back on the track of healing to achieve ultimate completion. Before I got hit by the car, my diet was on point, but due to the unexpected tragedy, it took a turn. As soon as I started fasting, many of the symptoms I had began to dissipate. When you access information through your mind and body, you acknowledge how you want your body to react to these chemicals. The information you take in, not just mentally but also through what you consume, shapes your paradigm. It’s essential to appreciate the shared existence throughout the universe within yourself and those around you.

Learned this, something similar, many years ago, but then forgot keep on doing it🙄 Was for balancing the left and right brain halves the therapist explained. Had to step in place and touch with crossing arms/hands the knees and meanwhile look from left to right. Going to start doing these exercises again 😊

Hello! I appreciate your reminders to allow our general and specifically lymph flow! I've studied and practiced Qigong for 2 decades plus as well. Question - I bruised or cracked a left rib last night - what do you advise to aid healing beyond continuing optimal hydration, belly breathing, Qigong including rib stretches, ice and infrared light cycles all day?

Dr. Perry do you massage your clients with oil? I've heard someone saying on internet that massaging with oil reduces the benefits of lymphatic massage, rather just dry rub the skin..
@stopchasingpain

Depends on the person and the area. Oil is more comfortable for most clients.
