Ingredients:
Rice - 300 gms
Curry leaves - 15 to 17 sprig (take good amount of it)
Onion - 1 big size
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Green chilli - 3
Garlic - 5 cloves
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - ( 1/2 tsp while cooking rice and 1/2 tsp for masala)
Pepper corn - 1/4 tsp
Lemon - 1/2
Method:
1. Wash the rice and soak for 15 minutes.
2. Add below mentioned ingredients to the mixer jar and make fine paste:
Curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chiilli, garlic, pepper corn, little water.
3. Keep rice for cooking and add salt and lemon juice.
4. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
5. Add mustard seeds.
6. Add chopped onion and fry till translucent.
7. Add salt & turmeric.
8. Mix well and fry for a minute.
9. Add the masala paste and add little water in a same mixer jar.
10. Once the oil starts separating add cooked rice.
11. Mix gently.
12. Ready to serve healthy curry leaves rice.
