Not even a car guy or that mechanically inclined, but this channel has been entertaining and relatable, unlike all the other numerous car channels on KZitem that have basically turned into ads and sponsors. You guys keep it real, and it's a good learning tool. The tip of the day each episode is great, and the life advice at the end was a nice addition to this episode. Keep up the good work, guys.

Good advice at the end. I realised after a few too many years worrying about things that life is much more exciting if you say yes to things - within reason of course.

The shop is about 4.5 hours away but if I EVER need a major repair done that I can’t do myself I’ll have it towed out there for that honest work. God bless yall makes me miss working at a dealership and learning from the OGs when I’d be running through the shop.

I didn't need the gut punch of that life advice at the end. It is good to remember though, don't take things or time for granted. But I just have to say thanks for being fun and educational! I can't legally drive cars since I have seizures, but the mechanics have always interested me. I might be able to help my family better take care of their cars now. That tip about where the air pressure is, is actually really helpful. My mom always just said arouns 33-35. I think I need to check it for her...

For tire pressures. Old head always said. Run close to max. They last the longest it's how to get the true 60k out of a tire. He said they will wear more in center but tire manufacturers know more about the tire than the dealer so he always said about 5-10 under max so if max is 50. He runs 40. Idk. I always have and my tires LAST

I dont know how much of a difference it makes with 5-8 psi but i know that having more air in the tires puts more stress on shocks and suspension, aswell as wheel bearings.

i had a tire shop fix a puncture on my driver tire once since it was less than a month use but got hit by a small screw on the freeway, they fixed it and put it back. running the freeway the next day and i feel my driver side hoping a bit. couldnt pull over as i was in a rush, got home and checked, nothing seemed wrong. but when i checked psi. every tire was 32, and the front they fixed was 70psi. just so happy it didnt go boom on me

Guys, I run my own shop in Atlanta GA, and I have just accepted and learned, most people just don’t know or understand directions or anything at all, even grown men. I took out 5 gallons of oil out of some dudes Maserati today and was floored and had to go sit in my office after I poured all of the oil from the 3 11qt drain pans I had to use. Thank god the battery was dead and he couldn’t start it, it had a dip stick, i’m not really sure why he didn’t check the oil level as he was adding oil, the picture of this oil change today went on the wall in my office. I definitely showed him how to properly top off oil and how to check the level properly, and he had no idea that’s how it was supposed to be done.

4:25 Maybe the customer THINKS that plastic cover, IS the manifold. Ive seen this before. Plenty dont realize those plastic panels Arent actually Functional.. If you look the coolant stains, ARE up under the edge of that plastic "manifold" cover. Maybe thats what he was referring to... where the stains are from the pinhole in the hose... he just didnt lean over one way or move a couple inches to the left, to Actually see the hole... I try to give people benefit of the doubt.. Often it even works in my favor lol.

1:20 EXACTLY what it is. Filling until the light shuts off, OR they give up. Nobody realize those have a refresh rate / Rotation sensor. Some wont reset until the tire has rotated a few times at speed. Some go off instantly when reaching desired pressure. Most do not however.

6:05 I hate when people do this, BUT there IS actually a less nefarious reason for this. The person who rolled back the miles, did so to match the miles on the Engine they installed.... Very Rare, that this is actually the case.... But, It is a thin possibility... 99% of the time though its just someone who hacked the ECU and rolled them back to charge more for a POS car.....
