Hello Everyone!
Today mom is teaching me how she makes Japanese curry using the S&B Oriental Curry powder. We didn't add any meat in this video however you can surely add meat to this curry recipe. In the video mom doubles the original recipe.

Japanese Curry Recipe: (5 Servings)
1 lb of chicken, lamb, shrimp, beef
1/2 medium onion, minced
1 medium onion ,sliced
1 large potato
1 medium carrot
Vegetable oil/Olive oil
3 C. water
1 T Better Than Bouillon (amzn.to/3mNjyd6) or 1 soup stock cube
Salt
Stir fry minced onion with oil on low heat until golden brown. (approx. 20 min.)
Add meat and other vegetables and stir-fry on medium heat for approx. 10 min.
Add water, Better Than Bouillon and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until ingredients are tender and then turn off the heat
Curry Roux
3 T Vegetable or Olive Oil
4 T. flour
1 T Curry Powder (amzn.to/2WvXyc1)
Put oil and flour into a sauce pan with low heat, fry flour carefully not to burn until golden. Whisk as you add the flour. Add curry powder and mix well to make roux. Add some broth from the vegetables and mix into the roux until liquid.
Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken. Add salt for seasoning.
