Listen. These greens are indeed BANGIN! One thing I did differently is sautee the onions and garlic in the coconut oil first. Then I added a couple handfuls of the greens, sauteed them with the onions and garlic, then added seasoning, then the rest of the greens along with enough water to cover. Used vegan butter. Added a cap full of apple cider vinegar. Adjusted amount of seasoning to taste. Baaaaaby! This one is a keeper. Thanks so much for this Berlinda!

I'm not sure if this channel is still alive but I could not go another minute without thanking you for this recipe. I watched this video 3 times over and after seeing the raves in the comment section, I took it on. I basically had everything (collards were purchased at the farmers market) on hand. I totally believe it when people said they wanted to eat the whole pot. Happy new year!

I had to come back after Thanksgiving and say thanks so much for this recipe. I had to make a small pot for my son who doesn’t eat meat. Used everything you used except, I didn’t add cayenne pepper. It was really good, I may stop adding meat as well, thanks again!

ok, here we go, gotta bike 3 miles to grocery store, no garlic nor onions! not going to use butter, i will work it out. using fresh greens from farmers' market, washed well and going to follow the rest of your instructions verbatim. cooking for one is sometimes difficult but i shop often and buy smaller portions. like our ancestors did, went to market several times per week, no refrig. much thanks for you work!

I'm not sure when to add the lemon pepper. In the beginning or after the greens have been cooking for 10 minutes? I am using fresh collards. Is it okay to use salted butter? Thanx for your help

Just enough to cover them.. U can always add more water nd seasoning as u go.. Even more oil nd buter if needed just taste as u go along.. U will do a good job trust me this one is easy... ;)

Just enough water to boil the greens . . To mych water will take away the seasoning... 35-40min

I use no onion or garlic most of the time because I eat it and so do my dogs . I do use broth I make . I also use the broth in the dogs water so no salt or sugar.
