You have to tune perfectly your 3d printer in advance to start printing this kind of project....take your time to learn how a 3d printer works...if the parts will get out ready to assembly without postproduction your 3d printer and slicing profile is ok! if not you have to work on the parts to make them usable...but you will have to tune your 3d printing processes... Some users wrote me for issues.....assuming the design is wrong....no it only requires perfect prints..

@@andrewrocc No the print is fine and the printer is dang near perfect. I just have to make a modification because of the feeder die. I drilled and reamed it out to fit the PVC before I had found this. So it was either buy a new die, Print one out(might do this), or make an adapter for the hole on mine. I had to drill it out to 5/8 to use the PVC pipe before I even thought about the printer. Hornady does not sell the screw in top for the feeder die unfortunately.

It's not so easy...on thingiverse i wrote a shopping list but the links changes everytime... In the top of the control box there are 4 connectors GX12 (2 pins for the motors and 3 pins for the inductive sensor) the other parts you asked for are just the "hub" to connect cables to have more lines positive or negative available..

I have printed everything necessary to build the bullet and case feeders. The case feeder is feeding the cases properly. However, the bullet feeder is flipping the bullets regardless of which way they are sitting in the feeder wheel. If they are nose up, they get flipped nose down and visa versa. After adjusting the bullet (nose up) slider so that the edge of the slider is showing in the first hole in the bullet wheel as it passes over the slider with prevent the 'nose up' bullets from falling out and being flipped.

Fantastic design, my only suggestion for improvement is to utilize two inductive switches, one at the mid tube, and one at the top. Turn off the motor when full(top sensor is closed) and not turn on until mid tube sensor triggers to restart the motor to refill the tube. Otherwise the motor jobs with every shell drop.

@@andrewrocc Very much appreciate your hard work, and keeping the info public. By auto drive, I meant I’d like a way to automate running the lever up and down on a Lee APP, though I don’t know if I’m smart enough to make something practical. I was thinking maybe belt drive a threaded shaft, with limit switch of some sort to reverse the motor at each end of the stroke. Some sort of over limit torque shutdown or clutch would also be needed. It would be much slower than something driven by pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, or something driven by a crankshaft: but it would also be simpler and cheaper.

Grazie
@andrewrocc

No i did this project for myself and free to download for who can print himself the parts.... i saw there are some people who produce it and sell it....i'm not happy with that but....My advice is to ask for a friend who can print the parts for you.... the final cost is really cheap.... for print all the parts you will use 1 spool of Pla around 20€ 1 motor cost maximum 15€...if you buy directly from china around 7€...20€ more for the electronics and cabling....is really cheap project if you made yourself....i've seen who sell this for 250€.....

quali settaggi hai usato per stampare?? infill, wall ecc?
@andrewrocc

@andrewrocc
