John, too early to tell. I've only had the Typhon 3 days now. And probably only messing around with it for a few hours. The 835e feels heavier though and doesn't seem as agile as the Typhon. But I can't really say for sure which I like better at this point. I'll be playing with the Typhon more in the coming days/weeks and will post updates. BTW, thanks for your vids...interesting, informative, and entertaining.

So do you like this or your Arrma Typhon more?

computertrucker How about if I say I like the 835e on 4s better and the Typhon on 6s better? Honestly they are both solid buggies. I'm using the 835e as more of my "basher" and the Typhon as more of a speed-buggy. If I could only choose 1, I'd take the Typhon if only because it's 6s ready. I think the early batch of faulty ESC's are getting cleared up and things are looking better and better with the Arrma.

what do think would be a good pinion size for my 835e with the stock system without a fan

All depends on how fast you want to go and whether you are running mostly on asphalt or dirt. But generally, something around 17t should be a nice sweet spot. Enjoy.

I think I'm going to just slap my momba monster set up in mine 2200kv with the water proof speed control and see what it does how does the stock electronics work
