@@johnsmithsu310 Probably too late of a tip, but it is college/university. If students aren't willing to do their work you need to tell the professor they didn't do shit. People shouldn't be piggybacking off your work just because they are too lazy to do theirs. You can work with them especially since life can get in the way, but doing absolutely nothing won't fly. Yeah I know the whole you don't want to rat people out, but like come on. They are adults. It isn't high school anymore. Do your work or don't come to school. Luckily I've only had to notify my professor once because at least in my experience people did their group projects. You shouldn't just sit there and deal with uncooperative people who refuse to put in any effort. You should try and give them proper opportunities to try and get their work done, but like there is a limit. That guy I notified the professor about. I sent him probably around 40 emails, and talked to him about it every day in class when he actually showed up and he still didn't respond to an email. That shit isn't okay. Don't put up with it. Tell the professor. But don't be a dick. What I mean is actually try and get people to know what they are tasked with. Also try to understand their circumstances, they might not be done with it when you want it done because of life.

The only qualms I have is all the companies wanting to only accept male job applicants. Like ok, I might not be the best construction man but I can do better drafting and design than some of the guys, come on! The experience seems a bit different on the other side of the world though. My friends who went to the US mentioned loneliness and hardships related to that disappearing groupmates. They also mentioned mostly or all males classes, etc. Pretty interesting comparison.
