My machine is a manual one not hydraulic but I'm pleased with it I have dies up to 1 and a half inch for round does a really good job on flat bar on Edge 2 the days are very expensive very very expensive and they're not and they are pretty labour intensive to make 2 so you're better off buying the sections at a massive price

Do the numbers mean anything (like millimeters of top roller travel) or are they just a relative indication of position? Also, I’d love to see a program run - do the increments of travel automatically increase each time you change direction?

I think you are correct. When you use a step bend program the upper DIE lowers by the same amount each time. But you have to cycle the roller backwards and forwards each time to get the upper DIE to lower.

As far as travel goes there is less timing or automated control of that movement.

Sir am trying to understand the settings on the machine the digital setting any video on that thanks. A lot of videos of the machine actually bending the pipe but nothing on programing how you arrive with the numbers to enter and how to enter it.

The easiest way to set this machine is to use the manual for the brand an type of roller. The way we figured it out after understanding the digital input is basically trial and error. You can use material of the same type and make several test bends. then record the results. After a few bends in the same material you will get a sense of how much each incremental movement will in turn move the material. I hope that helps. Chris

The fastest way to get the right settings is trial and error. A Lot depends on the material. we use scrap to see how much each increment of down movement changes the radius.

I would advise don't programmed it just take it up slowly you can't go wrong
