The anterior pelvic tilt (also known as "lower cross syndrome") is characterized by the pelvis tilting forward which causes the hips to push outward and the abdominals stick forward. As a result, it forms a curve in the lower back. This postural pattern can cause lower back pain and stiffness and prevent proper force generation and/or activation of glutes during activities. It is essential that you do the correct anterior pelvic tilt stretching and exercises to correct it. The most effective way to correct this is through stretching the hip flexors, back and rectus femoris which are often tight and strengthening the glutes and abdominals. Thus, in this video, I provide you with an anterior pelvic tilt workout that you can apply and start immediately.
