How are you just noticing this lmao, this happens with every major product release from companies who spend a significant portion of their marketing budget on social media influencers. Just part of the business

Yeah, I am just wondering if it's ethical to make it look like they are not paid.

IT'S NOT ETHICAL ! But I don't care. My Mamma taught me when I was a wee little boy, how to be cynical. She was raised by a good cop, who taught her not to trust anybody, but herself, not even other cops. I'm NOT from Missouri, but you still have to "show me" first ! As far as I'm concerned, everyone on this platform is a shill for a company, a product, the government, or themselves. GREAT VIDEO ! Always remember "humans are selfish by nature" beware ! Good subject "HONESTY" I subed, because I like the way you think !

If a KZitemr is given free stuff to review from a company, or if they're getting paid for the review, they are required to disclose that. If Fender sent it to him free or if he's getting paid to review it, he HAS TO say so. How do you know he got paid? Did you see the check? You're criticizing a guy that you don't know and you don't know the situation. Maybe he bought the thing so he could review it, they do that sometimes with new stuff. You're casting aspersions on other people's integrity without knowing what you're talking about.

All the creators say in all those videos say that "fender sent it to me, I'm not getting paid for this review and all opinions are my own thoughts". Some creators have even said "I paid for this with my own money". If you can find any of the top creators who don't say it then I'd be impressed. In some countries by law you have to declare that it was sent to you whether or not you were paid. Companies also save a load of money on advertising by sending it out to creators with a lot of reach. Why spent upwards of $20,000 or more on advertising when you can spend $15,000 sending the product out to people who will get more eyes on a product.

I'd have to watch it again, but if I recall correctly Matt does NOT make it clear if he got paid or didn't which is why I made the video.

@@voyxu143 I know fender sent alot of the Vintera 2 and vintage 2 guitars out to creators with no expectation of saying anything good or bad about the products but I don't think because they got sent something means it's bad. There was a video from a kick-starting company who sent out a guitar with silicon frets and all the creators said it was awful and to not buy it. Personally I think the days of massive influence on products especially when it comes to music gear is all personal preference. They're there to get the customer to make an informed decision. With guitarists especially who are massively picky about gear even down to how many winds a pickup has or a certain colour red wasn't the right red. If I'm looking at a piece of equipment I'll try look at as many pieces of content as possible then go to a dealer in person and then make the decision for myself. Unless a creator is screaming "you have to have this asap go buy it now" then I don't see it as a big issue. Just my opinion though but I can see where you are coming from as yes there are those people out there who do a product review every second 2 it seems.

There's no way in hell that I would pay even 25% of what they're asking for this thing. There are too many options out there with a lower price and more features. I never trust any KZitemr's recommendation on any products. I'm not mad at them for making $$$, but I'm not going to take their word for anything either, because I know they are trying to protect their relationship with these companies.

I think it’s great how anyone is able to publish content nowadays but the majority know nothing about a certain little thing called ethics in journalism… heck, journalists seem to have forgotten the meaning 😅 The only thing I can suggest is to not click or even better, click on "don’t recommend channel" when it comes to the shills.

Ask Zac did a decent review of these amps and I do believe Zac Childs is honest. He said they do not sound exactly like a tube amp but they do t necessarily sound bad either. They're not for me but someone may be fine with it. I don't think that you cannot trust utube vids most of the time, I do trust you however.

I thought it was pretty obvious that Matthew got it from Fender, yes he didn't say "for free" and he should have, but it was kinda implied in the beginning... anyway it's not like they're gonna bribe him with that to give a good review. It's a piece of crap, everyone heard that, he wasn't too excited about it either and most likely didn't trash it out of respect for Fender. Now tell me is that enough to call him SHILL in capital letters all over your thumbnail. Trying to steer audience your way with a big name and accusation, how's that for ethical??

We don't know what agreement Matt made with Fender do we??? That's the whole point of the vid. Look up the word Shill. Matt may fit the description in this case. Other vids he has made would certainly not be deserving of the thumbnail.

@@voyxu143 "an accomplice of a confidence trickster or swindler who poses as a genuine customer to entice or encourage others." I don't think Matthew's video is gonna entice anyone to buy this thing. Fender made a deal "we give you a free thing and you say it's meh"? Come on
