What is really tough, is when you need matching flywheels. Finding matching castings is a chore.

Always good to see how someone else tackles a job, not the way I machine flywheels but I learned something from you today an enjoyed another of your video’s. Thanks again from England.

I'm a newcomer to your channel and I was particularly interested to see how you cleaned those three blocks of cast iron off the spokes on the one side. I'm assuming you used the lathe or very labouriously filed them off. The other possibility was to turn them off, but this was questionable because of the proximity of the chuck jaws. The other possibility was to chuck it on the hub with the internal jaws, but unfortunately, you didn't show or explain how you did that. A comment from you explaining that would be appreciated.

Hi Ron, sorry we missed that, I just sanded them off with the little air grinder. It only takes a couple of minutes, I guess I did it when Jim my video man wasn’t paying attention. Sometimes he gets so interested in what I’m doing that he forgets to turn on the camera. Thank you for your interest and your commitment. Joe H U
