Welcome to episode five in our FDR Series, which covers each phase of a full-depth reclamation project during construction. Full-depth reclamation is a road construction technique that recycles and reuses the existing pavement to create a stronger base for the new road. Episode five covers the finishing touches, seeding, landscaping, and striping. Turf establishment for this project was completed by seeding the sides of the roadway. Once the final lift of bituminous was placed, the roads traffic lanes and pedestrian crossings were placed. This concludes the FDR process and this series. If you need help with your pavement management plan, please contact Widseth to see how we can help.
