Dave, I have been making something very similar to this for years. Everything form pepperoni pizza to ham and cheese. As long as the ingredients are shelf stable the possibilities are endless. Heck yeah man👍could use about anything a person wanted to even This would be a good change from are usual camping breakfast(potatoes eggs& Bacon) Scrambled together.. This will WOW the fishing camp next weekend&it feels right to pass on good Reliance tips I meen what a treat&moral booster in a bad situation to have a hot pocket 🤠or anything baked..we’v learnt allot from u over the years”Thanx Dave”

Reminds me of my grandmother making the Scottish dish "Bridies" using ground beef, carrot and onion in a similar fashion

Hey Dave used to have these all the time back boyscout camp we used to use Bisquick do as if you would make cut-out biscuits and prepare them in our MoonPie makers. Thought this would be useful for those who do not have a bush pot rack.

I was skeptical. But then... I made this today with Crisco cuz i didn't have lard. And stuffed it with pepperoni and moz cheese OMG!!! Dave you're a genius!!! 😋😋😋😋😋 Yeah, this woupd be really reallly good with eggs and Canadian bacon

I used to make buscuits at bojangles. The biscuit dough should look like cottage cheese when mixed. Most people over work the dough which develops the gluten and makes the biscuits tougher and more like pizza crust.

That looks great. What i would do is make the dough ahead. Then fry up some bacon so i can get the grease, then do the eggs in the same pan. But that's a great idea!

i would suggest a brush of melted butter (if you have it) along the top and it will bake into a nice crisp top. maybe also add some potato and onion.

Or you could use pre-crisped country ham. Then put in a dab of raspberry jam. This popover style has many worthy manifestations, from empanadas, to calzones, to pasties.

Dang that perfection. If it had some pioneer sausage gravy to dip it into you could break a piece of it off and put on your forehead and your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it.
