This is fantastic, really. Holding the chisel ar an angle like that is brilliant. I really want that of those scooper thingy. Pretty new here but here to stay. Thanks...and humbs up.

Thanks for this. I have done some hand tool mortising. While fun, I can see it only on "one off" projects, not any sort of multi-piece project (like a group of chairs). Love all your work

Yes I can totally agree with you. And let's face it, if power tools were available long ago, they would have used them. But now and then I like being reminded how far we have advanced by doing it old school. Thanks for your input. It's a good point.

If you notice on my tool list I mention at the very top that a lot of my tools are old antiques. My old tools are acquired by older woodworkers retiring, flea markets, and eBay. Thanks for watching
