Well beyond his years, is his knowledge! Fantastic, no need to worry about this farm making a bad name for dairy farmers. Great explanation of the care that cow required, and great job giving her the best chance to pull through without too much chance of it getting worse. Catching problems early, is proof the farmer is on top of his herds health and well being! 👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦

I'm so impressed with how your cows are treated. They look very clean and healthy. People often don't realize that cows are pushed to the limit metabolically to produce the most milk possible. But close observation and attention go along way to prevent problems early. Loved the big glass of milk, missed the milk mustache!

You drinking that whole milk, reminds me of a time, when I went to a dairy farm for a pig roast. (My sister’s bf’s family owned it). I had never tasted whole milk before. They had a cold, huge pitcher in the fridge, and I couldn’t stop drinking it, it was so much better than the store’s milk. It was also so filling. God, I can taste it now. Thanks for all your videos. I find them interesting and refreshing. Stay safe, be well

I loved the focus on the sick cow. Your husbandry skills show both compassion and impressive knowledge of cattle health. Good use of suspense when mixing the treatment solution. I thought my gosh, what in the world is he giving her?!! You have reminded me of today's verse: Jesus said, "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep." (Jn. 10:11). Thank goodness for the One who knows our need as we go through this world-wide crisis! The video drone shot of the train was lovely. You always do a great job of selecting the perfect music to make the video really dramatic. That is not always easy. I thank you for all this today.

You need to get your Dad in a video or two. I haven't watched all of your videos but you should do one video with all the people who work on the farm. I saw the one with your mom and the calves. The other one with the farmhand. You do a great job with your videos and I'm sure both your parents are beaming with pride. I don't know how you do it: up in the morning so early and that strong smell of manure but I guess we all get used to something. Seriously dude, I am extremely impressed. My job is sitting in front of computers and I've done that for almost 40 years so I can't imagine milking cows for that long. It's a lot of hard labour to do what you do and you and your family do a great job! Your herd is clean and very well kept. The whole operation is beyond impressive - especially after seeing some of the ones in other countries. I suspect it has been a multi-generational operation as most Dutch immigrants came here after WWII like my dad did. I have relatives that are on the farm and had cattle for about 10 years- they do potatoes and wheat and have one of the biggest potato farms in Alberta. The fourth generation like yourself are taking things with their parents to a whole new level and its really fascination to watch.

Where I come from the wrench is called a bung wrench to remove the bung from the bung hole. I saw a comment that these cattle live in an unnatural state, I would disagree with that statement. These domesticated animals need the care that they have been bred for. Treating a domesticated animal like the wild stock they came from would be cruel.

The train footage was a nice little bonus for me. It's a bit sad that most rolling stock is tagged with graffiti these days but trains are still cool to see once in a while. As long as you're not gonna get in any trouble flying the drone over their trains or tracks, I say keep it in the mix.

Great video again. I loved the drone footage of the train; I was looking to see where you parked your truck, but didn't see it :). How is the cow doing after her treatment? Is the new food 'recipe' working out as you and your Dad hoped it would? I never saw a cow being treated with this technique but agree it looks superior to a veterinary surgical treatment.
