Not exactly easy to follow. Don't you have a playlist that has the titles in order to watch = HHR Conversion 1, HHR Conversion 2,....?

Nice project. Would you tell us how much torque the motor produces? Also, what is the 0-60MPH time? Perhaps 8 seconds? I know the SS version of the HHR can do 0-60MPH in about 6.3 seconds, and getting a Stage 1 done will improve that even more (by adding approximately 30HP). The stock SS has 260HP and also 260ft lbs of torque. Also: I'd love to see some video of it running down the road. Thanks for posting this series of vids - they are inspiring! God bless.

It is an Advance DC motor that was rebuilt by Jeff Warfield. He repainted the case and applied his logo.

I'll use a hall effect petal on my next conversion, this one is nearing completion and I don't think I'll change the petal out on this one. Thanks for the idea though.

yes, but my particular Hairball for the Zilla controller will not recognize a hall effect pedal. It has to be a standard pot box with 0-5 ohm resistance.

Ok so perhaps a digital potentiometer? Will take a 0-5v signal and produce a 0-5k ohm output. I'm just not a fan of those pot boxes :)

Have you thought about using a hall effect throttle pedal assembly?
