In this workshop, simulation-ready volume mesh is generated for a generic high-speed train geometry, placed inside an enclosure. The mesh generation is performed for an external aerodynamic analysis of the model. We will particularly highlight how to add box-type local refinement zones around the geometry and perform Share Topology. We will also demonstrate how to assign dead region type and add boundary layer mesh on wall surfaces. Access starting files for this lesson here → courses.ansys.com/index.php/c...
