This young lady did an outstanding job imitating Whitney, Whitney is gone. She is gone, but never forgotten, she left US with precious memories as well as memorable music, so let US All give this you lady her prompts, they work very hard to get her to look like Whitney , and this was not an over night process. Congratulations to you, "aka" Imitator

@@fmoovmkr i don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone acting “become” a character, just their interpretation of the character. It would be kinda gross actually to watch someone absolutely become someone….that’s why it’s “acting” not “cloning” it impossible to fully be anyone else. I don’t need to watch will smith become Muhammad Ali, there’s only one, but i enjoy watching will smith impersonate him to the best of his ability. When Denzel impersonated the corrupt police officer from training day, he was very similar to that man, but he’s not that man. The real persons criminal case is on video on KZitem, Denzel is not that man, but that movie is excellent. I think the pressure we put on actors to impersonate real people is insane. When heath ledger played the joker we said he “became” the joker, no he became his best interpretation, the joker wasn’t real so we allowed him to have creative range in the role. But when an actor plays a real person we often expect a clone and i just don’t see how that’s possible.

young people, enjoy the youthful years you have and don't take anything for granted. i was born in 1982 and as a kid growing up in the late 80's and early to mid 90's i was too young to know that when i heard Whitney or Michael on the radio for the first time that i was witness to a miracle of musical proportions (you never realize those things when your a kid) and now i'm 41 and a lot of the people who made music worth listening to are gone now and the world changes and you become the one that young people look at and say that your just being old, i know i said that to a lot of older people when i was a kid. the times are so crazy and it's no longer safe to be a kid so please find something beautiful in your lives and remember it because as soon as your next breath.......it's gone. love and prayers from New York. God bless.

In this particular scene, the emotions are not conveyed correctly. The video shows that Whitney is very nervous and also unsure of herself. It is clear that she is still young and sometimes naive. At the same time, the actress showed the confident and strong personality that Whitney became 10-15 years later. So this particular scene is not accurate in terms of emotions.

That movie was so well done! It really made you feel like you knew her and were really pulling for her. even the way they handled the drug thing was done in a way that if you or you knew someone who dabbled in drugs you could relate to it. Not like the papers portrayed it back in the day like "back ally druggy" was the vibe that tabloids gave (and they should be ashamed.) NO this movie had you see how this woman with an incredible talent, that had to fight through so much, and how she delt with the pressures. man, I am so sad she is no longer with us.
