Today I am sharing how I make Chicken Tikka Masala. It is a rich, decadent and creamy curry that you can serve with naan or rice. You can make it with chicken or paneer to turn it into vegetarian-friendly Paneer tikka masala.
Ingredients:
1-2 tsp Oil
500gm Boneless Chicken
1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
2tbsp Yogurt
Marination Spices:
1/2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1/2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
3/4 tsp Whole Black Pepper
1 tsp Tandoori Masala
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Flakes - Adjust a/c to taste
Gravy Ingredients:
1 tbsp Butter or Ghee - I used ghee
1 medium Onion - finely chopped
1/2 tbsp Ginger Paste
1/2 tbsp Garlic Paste
1/8 to 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 cup Tomato Puree or 3-4 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp or taste Salt
1/2 to 3/4 cup Cream
Milk if Required - to make the gravy as thin as you like
1 tsp Fenugreek Leaves
