This is so much better than having the dumbbells out on the outside of the legs. Can generate more power from the hips and feel less strain on my shoulders

That's really helpful, I was following the FitBod app instruction video which had legs narrow, the dumbbells on the outside and a weird complex motion - this method feels way simpler and more effective. Thank you.

literally i got so frustrated trying to follow the fitbod instructions that i’ve been swapping it out every time it puts it in my workout 😭 feels like choreography instead of a lift

This vid looks so much better than previous vids I've seen, am I ok in starting out with say 5kg each arm until conformable with the movements? I have previous rotary cuff injury, mad that all my comments recently get highlighted, makes me feel Godly 😂

So, if I wanted to do a double db squat that requires a clean, I'd probably want to widen my stance, clean, position one leg properly, then the 2nd, then squat, reverse everything at the end.

Nah, the dumbbells should be outside your feet. You don't need to round your back. Drop your hips and get your chest up
