I have short arms compared to my legs. I worked with a yoga instructor a few years back. Based on body mechanics I will never get this. But we found a variation where I step my leg through outside the hand on that side and have been using that for almost 2 years now.

My tummy doesn't let me get into this position from a downward dog position I always have to stand up to get into warrior position it makes me sad but I don't think it can be helped?

I love your channel, right now I'doing 10 days abs challenge and I feel great. But I've notice that I have very weak arms so it would be awesome if you could make also arms challenge :) Keep the good work and thank you for sharing:)

Hope you still answer comments on older videos :) I would like to be able to do this step without having to "cheat" (use my hand), it is something that is also a big handicap for surfing, where one uses a similar technique to get that foot up and inline with the hands. My inability to perform this movement must be due to a tightness or weakness of some sort, do you know where? if it is in the hips, butt, quads, hamstrings? What could it be!!? ... and what exercises stretches could be done to fix this!! Thank you !

I dont know if my down dog is correct. I feel like i'm hunching, like my back curves weirdly
