I was vegetarian for the first 16 years of my life, just cos my parents were. Then never ate much meat at all until i started the carnivore diet a month ago, im 29 now and my skin and muscle is regenerating. Ive got the best confidence and mental clarity of my life. It was weird for me eating meat as never ate a steak before and I am eating them very rare and they taste pretty good! hard to eat the fat on the side of the rump though, but when i do i get a nice warm flushed face and it feels good! anyone else get this?

When I add beef tallow to my butter, coconut oil, and raw milk coffee, my heart feels like the stroke volume ratchets up. Like it gets more flow per beat. And the fat falls off of the rest of me. I'm a BIG fan of beef fat / stearic acid.

THIS WAS PURE GOLD!!! As a former Keto-Vore, I also experienced adverse issues with my hormones. (Note: get your blood work done, people!) But once I added back in some carbs (approximately 30% of my daily intake), my levels across the board significantly improved. That said, I still take Boron daily -- 6mg -- because I personally think (a) that's the right dose for me and (b) I just can't eat the five or six pounds of bananas/apples/honey it'd take to get that dosage. (For those still seeing suboptimal SHBG numbers on an animal-based w/carbs diet, don't feel bad about supplementing with Boron. Your body -- and dare I suggest your significant other? -- will be thankful for it.)

To those reading - don't believe the lies. Lifting heavy weights will give you only a temporary increase in Testo, before coming back down to normal. Long term, exhausting yourself will lower your Testo. Do yourself a favour and lift appropriate weights a few times a week or, much better yet, do calisthenics. Exercise is good for strength and health, not for your Testo.

Such an amazing podcast Dr. Paul. Been following your journey for almost 2 years now. I myself, was suffering from massive GI issues and low T at only 35 years old, despite working out and keeping to a relatively healthy lifestyle. Went carnivore for a few months and slowly tried to add things back into the diet. It’s been a bit of trial and error but I’m off testosterone with zero issues. I now eat meat, and fruits only, along with organ supplements and it’s like magic! I feel great, I have a good sex drive, and I genuinely feel happy and energized. Thank you for all that you do!

Keto / carnivore without the liver wasn't hitting a certain spot, and now I'm just addicted to the liver. And I've got all this energy now, so I started lifting weights again, and it's just amazing. Going keto was a huge step, and then going carnivore was a huge step, but totally getting rid of all the rest of the linoleic acid, and adding in organs, and adding lots of beef fat to everything, has just been like going keto all over again. And weight that I didn't know I had to lose fell off... It's incredible.

When I graduated from medical school, the upper range for testosterone in men was 1,200. Now some labs have the upper range at 790. For women, depending on the lab, the range is 10-60. For men, I like to see the testosterone between 700-1,200, and women 70-130. With men, the amount of nightly erections and morning erection they have is the determining factor, usually. Men need to have their estradiol between 20-30. Women should have their FSH

As he just said fat and protein play a crucial role in hormones. I would suggest ghee and coconut oil. Don't be too concerned with macros. Eat until your full. Your body knows. Listen to it. But avoid anything processed, artificial, etc. Because that can counteract the benefits of the Healthy food you ingest. If you trying to gain muscle or I would focus on and 3/2/1 fat/protein/card diet. And eat a little bit more after your already full. Stop eating 2 hrs before bed and drink black coffee, green tea, or water in the morning a CPL hrs before your first meal to break the fast. Vitamins and minerals are vital in the synthesization of protein and every other process. Don't over think just do what you can to learn what dynamic of food and habits and most optimal for you and make adjustments overtime and soon you'll know by how you feel, look, and function that your on the right track! Hope I could help 😊 🙏

If you supplement with boron 6 mg, do you need to cycle it? I have read that it is better to do so, two weeks on and one week off. Is that correct?

50% fat. 30% protein. 20% carbs. having zero carbs in your diet will cause heart palpitations in the future. your body should being going in and out of a state of ketosis not stay in it 24/7/365. Carbs are not bad for you. just eat the carbs that your body tolerates the same as eating the meat and organs your body tolerates. If you're not thriving now change your diet. if you are. don't change anything

Hi Saladino, I'm an ex vegan (3 years vegan) and I use to have gut issue who seam to get cure by an animal base diet but I also use to have good level of testosterone and libido and now it's dropping on my current animal base/low carb diet ? Does it mean I should eat more fruit and potatoes to replace the grains? Or is it just a temporary state ? Thanks for your time

*Is D3 supplementation the same as sunshine?* I’ve been inside for 2 years at home now, and I’ve had barely any sunlight exposure. But my vitamin D levels are decent from D3 supplementation.

Sunshine alone will never ever provide enough vitamin D unless you move to the equator.

Is this the most bioavailable? Thanks
@bannanaization
2 жыл бұрын
@@absolutefreddyg it is bioavailable due to being chelated with glycine. But it also has the lowest possibility of causing oxidation and free radicals when reacting with other metals, atleast thats what i was told. So don't take a random persons word on it lol. Its worked well in my experience though, much much better than consuming liver for copper

i recently lowered fat in my diet and feel much better. Not sure why, but fat gives me indigestion which has major cascading effects

Saturated fat increases serotonin and lowers dopamine, because it is the most satiating food there is, back in nature, meat was a reward, not a staple. People would only be able to eat meat like once every few days, do you really think they were hunting 3 times a day non stop just eating meat like lions. No, they ate fruit and other stuff. And saturated fat tells the brain that you are fully satisfied, leading to tiredness and laziness (your brain thinks you achieved everything because you have given yourself the ultimate reward)

Indigestion from saturated fat means you are lacking stomach acid (HCL). When you lack stomach acid, your liver will not produce enough bile to break down the fat. Try taking some raw apple cider vinegar to boost stomach acid.
