This is my ultimate stew. The classic french Beef bourguignon. Whats not to love about beef, bacon and wine. Oh yes, there are also vegetables in there as well if you into that kind of thing.
I also share my secret ingredient - dark chocolate to make this the ultimate winter comfort food!

Ingredients:
2 kg Stewing Beef
250 gr Bacon
1 Sliced Onion
4 Cloves Garlic (chopped or crushed)
300 gr Carrots (10 -12 baby carrots but you can use quarter normal carrots)
750ml Red Wine (Preferably Pinot Noir)
2L Beef Stock
20 - 25 Pearl (Pickle) Onion
250 gr Mushroom (White or Brown)
2 Tbs Tomato Paste
A couple Sprigs of Rosemary and Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
