Thank you for the recipe. I am going to try making Natto. I pickle and do many fermenting projects. So, this will be fun. 🌺

After A long day at work, this video was just what I needed. Loved the way you played with the pot music ^_^ Will use your methode to make my natto. Thank you.
There are various processes. The difference is the use of the rice strows. For this amount of soybeans 3 rice strows are enough.. i think you will feel the differnce . Boil rice strows for about 30 seconds. Please try it .😌 I'm a farmer😄

@@GOROGOROKITCHEN I am interested in healthy eating and natto is one of the most famous superfoods. In conditions when there is no light and you cannot use a yogurt maker, the method with a heating pad helped me a lot. Thank you to all the kind people for your help and support of Ukraine in these difficult times. 🙏❤️

I love eating natto. Been eating natto with Pasta and avocado. Making own natto is definitely more sustainable then buying tubs in styrofoam box. Why styrofoam, do you know?

Hi, thank you for watching! I've never thought about it but your question made me curious, I googled why. I found out that it’s because the styrofoam box keeps the humidity, temperature suitable for the Natto bacteria. But it’s not really sustainable at all… when I went back to Japan last November, I found several Natto brands that use the paper box instead of the styrofoam. But you are right, it’s really good for ecology if you make it by yourself!

@summerl3484 Thanks a lot for this important comment! Sure, making different kinds of food by ourselves is friendlier for the environment and much healthier! @GOROGOROKITCHEN Thanks for sharing the receipt!

Thanks for sharing! I noticed that your Instant pot can be used to make yogurt. Why not use it to make natto?

Hello, thank you for watching! Yes, I know that we can use the instant pot, but as I make a lot of beans at once, I use the hot water bottle. I think it is more environmentally friendly than using electricity all the time.

Hello, thank you for watching! I am not sure if you can buy the Natto powder in the UK, I bought it and brought it back from Japan... But you can find Natto itself from Japan centre and some other Japanese grocery shops. That's why I introduced this video that I used the Natto itself as the base of fermentation. I hope this helps!

Glad to find this video! i always buy ready made natto in Japanese supermarket which mostly can keep a half month (indicate on the “use by” label). All supermarkets place natto in a fridge instead of freezer. Does it mean the ready made natto are added preservatives?

Why do you have to do so much work? put a hot water bottle and pillows and blankets what for what do you have two cats for? They can't incubate NATO and warm it up?
