I am glad you are putting these in a systematic order. I don't know if I'll ever be able to do this again, but thank you for all you do.

@@Therecordingsolution It is frustrating after even a mini stroke. My right hand feels like you shot it up with Novocain, and the whole right side is weak. I am a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Vocals are fine, (Thank God), but I am challenged otherwise.

I've been watching this Mixing and Mastering playlist and I am loving it! Was the acoustic guitar recorded in stereo? If it was can can you explain me how? It sounds very beautiful to listen!

Thank you, Scott. Can you tell us in general terms how it would be different dealing with a nylon fingering guitar?

Paulo, EQ would be some HP filtering if it was in a dense mix for sure. The rest of my EQ moves would depend on the sound of the guitar in context with your tracks. I wouldn't know what to tell you to do unless I heard it. As for compression, it depends on what you are going for. Are you trying to even out a dynamic performance? Is it a slow picking song or faster? There is a lot of factors that would go into the decisions i would make. If it was just a pretty nylon string guitar and vocal, then you could highlight more of the guitar and not have to roll off as much low end. You could make it warmer and fuller and compliment the vocal. It just all depends. Sorry I can't be more specific. - Scott
