#FRC #mobility #warmup
Every good warmup should include functional range conditioning (FRC). FRC helps to improve mobility, body control, and develop improved load capacity in the joints.
This warmup exercise is a great one to incorporate into any upper body day, or before you exercise in ways that engage the muscles of the upper body.
A controlled articular rotation (CAR) moves a joint through its full end-range range of motion (ROM). When performing this exercise, time under tension is key. Don't rush through the movement, and generate and maintain as much tension as you can throughout the whole range of motion.
This movement will be featured in a 5 minute active stretching/mobility video I will release soon, so stay tuned!
