@@user-kv9hx8nk6n yes, it's a full body routine, you do all of it every day, you won't be working to fatigue so you don't need rest days in between like you would need whit the Push/Pull/Leg day format where you train something else while the muscle you worked yesterday rest, this way you can work every day to build the habit of exercise, the Sets x Reps can be too hard or too easy for you so you may need to tweak it a little, make the exercise more difficult or easier, find what variation of the exercise works for you at you current level, this is just a template after all, remember that this is a life long habit, consistency is more important than intensity.

Literally exactly what you said in the video is my current mentality. Do enough exercise today that will bring you back tomorrow. Work at an intensity that'll ensure you'll be back into it tomorrow. Another thing you touched on which I'll preach to the highest of fucking heavens is 2 steps back one step forward. If for whatever reason you miss a day in the gym that's two steps back. Now you'll have to work 3 days to get to where you could've been on that rest where if you hadn't have rested you'd be 2 steps forward. Great mentality to adopt people really ask everyone attain it

This is fantastic advice, just start somewhere and make it a part of your daily routine. Once you get it dialed into that, it'll become something that is as routine as brushing your teeth. I weighed 190 lbs, which was noticeably big for someone like me with a smaller frame. One day I just decided to start doing a mix of jogging and walking, 5 minutes jog, 5 minutes walk off and on. I would do that for a half hour everyday, until it eventually turned into jogging for the entire half hour. Then I got ahold of a barbell and some weights, I didn't have a workout routine but knew enough about basic things like a overhead press, barbell rows, bench press, curls and squats. I started off doing just those things, I didn't even have a bench, I would set the barbell on two chairs with a lighter weight on the bar and lay on the floor for bench presses. Not really knowing how many reps, I would just lift whatever weight I could handle until I couldn't lift it anymore. I also did a lot of bodyweight exercises, which I was able to find a lot of follow along routines on KZitem. Then I picked up some resistance bands and incorporated them into my workouts. Now I'm to the point where I'm exercising 5 to 6 days a week and I'm down to 150 lbs. I won't say that I looked jacked or anything like that, but I have muscle definition and it's helped me adopt way healthier habits. You'll also notice that when you are putting in the work, eating bad food just doesn't sit well anymore. You start looking at food as fuel for your body and if you put bad fuel in, you just won't perform as well or get the results you're after. Also one thing I try to remember is, some days the motivation isn't there and the workout can feel like it lacks energy or isn't as gratifying. Sometimes I just don't have time to get the full workout that I wanted to, but I also think that doing even 20 minutes of something is better than nothing.

Points taken: 1. Best way to start exercising is to start and knowing you will do it in a unideal way. 2. Researching the most optimum, fastest, effective way to gain muscle will slow you down. 3. Do a bit of exercise every single day for the rest of your life. 4. If you are inconsistent in exercising the huge priority is making it consistent. And the consistency does not come from the usual advice like go to the gym everyday. 5. Follow a workout and if ur workout history is inconsistent do a full body workout every day. 6. Don't take rest days and when u miss a rest day you will count that as a failure. 7. Workout sharp agressive 20 to 45 minutes max. 8. Once u make it consistent go on a muscle-hypertrophy workout. 9. Exercise before school or work before anything.

What body type are you? Fat, obese, skinny, skinny fat? Ill assume that your skinny fat so i would say, do intermitten fasting. Multiply your body weight times 15 and that is how many calories you should be eating, try to eat 250-500 less that that every day and just exercise. No matter what as long as you aren't bulking you should be fine. Of course eat healthy, eggs, fruit, vegetables, chicken, you get the deal and you should be the body type your aiming for. If you are fat, do the same thing it will just end up being more tricky. Getting bulky is very hard, so have no worries. Once you have seen good results eat at the recommended amount of calories and continue to workout.

@@lonelyken4215 yup just keep working out normally and eating high protein and fiber and you'll be fine. Getting bulky will only happen if you were bulky to begin with.

yeah me too, i don’t want to be bulky and stonky. i just want to be slim. I’m afraid that if i workout with weights and the gym, i’ll become stonky and bulky. any advice? im my scale says 30% bf but i don’t even look remotely that fat.
