??上海青 is also called 上海白菜 which is a type of 小白菜

@@v000000000000v In all the stores here in China 上海青 is very different from what is sold as 小白菜. Yes, they are all types of 白菜,but that just means cabbage - a very g eneral term. What is sold as 白菜 is napa cabbage!

@@liuzhou i'm not talking about 小白菜 vs 大白菜 aka 黃芽白, 小白菜 is a category that encompasses 上海青 which is also 上海白菜 市場上常見的小白菜有: 油白菜(南方油白菜 Brassica chinensis var. oleifera)是油菜的一種,源自不結球白菜,從南宋開始菜葉食用,菜籽榨油,是蔬油兼用的優良菜類。 上海白菜,又叫青江菜、小棠菜,是上海一帶的華東地區最常見的小白菜耐熱品種。上海人又稱其為「青菜」或「小青菜」。 雞毛菜,一種菜葉纖小如雞毛的小白菜。 塔古菜,一種只有冬天春節前後才有的多葉小白菜,出產於華東。
