Dress up your cookies or cakes using silicone molds! Use coloured fondant or paint the fondant with a shiny highlighter dust!

Work a piece of fondant in your hands until it's pliable. Push the fondant into the mold and work it into every crevice. Turn it over and gently push it out of the mold. If you find that the fondant sticks to the mold, you can dust the mold with a bit of cornstarch.
Allow the fondant to firm up a bit before painting it with the highlighter.
Use a dab of royal icing to "glue" it to your cookie
To dilute the gold dust, I am using Everclear Alcohol.

It would be more practical to use a dropper to add the alcohol to the palette, but I didn't have one handy!! ;)
If you cannot find Everclear, look out for Spiritus Alcohol: www.lcbo.com/lcbo/product/spi...
