I’ve got a demo of some exercises that we modified to the needs of one of our baseball pitchers to recapture hip external rotation at speed.
While being about to do so with static or slower speed exercises has value, when it comes to high force or high speed activities, the athlete needs to be able to express movement at higher stress levels.
This is just two possibilities that we used to create the yielding action in the axial skeleton to reinforce the ability to ER at speed.
