Idaho is an often misrepresented-and very misunderstood-state. Let’s be honest, most Americans probably won’t have much to say about Idaho, other than its prolific potato production and rambunctious red-state reputation. But this Pacific Northwest outlier has far more color and complexity than its status suggests.
Big & Small spent over a month in Idaho’s capital of Boise, home to the largest Basque population in the U.S., a thriving underground music scene, and the bike-friendly Greenbelt. We also explored the state’s diverse landscape, from the vast lava fields of the Craters of the Moon National Monument to the spectacular Shoshone Falls (which surpass the height of Niagara Falls) and cover the northern resort areas of Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint.
And who here is familiar with Greater Idaho?
