Hey, this is (kind of) my area! I'm an historian of early medieval Ireland. As far as the age of the Irish, it's always fun to remember that Brú na Bóinne, the megalithic complex where Newgrange sits, was built around a thousand years BEFORE the Egyptian pyramids of Giza!

I've learned more from a man with frosted tips than any actual history teacher/professor and I feel like that's concerning. But hey, it is what it is😌

To this day there are legitimate claimants to the various thrones of Ireland including the O'Neil and O'Connor family.Interestingly enough Queen Victoria treated the O'Connor Don with the same protocols as a deposed monarch.

Kinda surprised you didn’t mention it so now I’ve got to ask. Do you connect the Tuatha De Danann to your grand nephilim theory at all? The modern anthropological consensus seems to be that they eventually became the fairies of folklore, with some Christian interpretations saying they’re demonic/angelic in origin.

If everyone died of plague, how do we know they even existed? Who lived to tell the tale? I'm skeptical of what the Irish Book of Invasions says about the invasions. I'd be more inclined to follow the genetic history.

I'd recommend you'd check out Dun Anghosa if you're interested in archaeological Celtic stuff. I went there over the 2022 summer and I can tell you it was really fascinating to see the history behind it.

It’s very simple, we planted a beer keg and waited some time, and from there we got we now know as the Irish.

Look at the similarities between galeic and sematic languages.. and the similarities of the Druids and the levite priests.

Can you point me in a direction on that? I’d love to look into it, but without a starting point I think I’d get lost pretty quick.

@@TheLoreLodge I have a degree in Irish history. Irish and the Goidelic Celtic language tree are a Q-Celtic language that originated with the Celtiberians. The Book of Invasions was a retcon of Irish mythology to fit in Christianity. They also wanted to make sure they were in the Bible by claiming to be descended from Noah’s daughter. Dna evidence points towards origins in Siberia/Eurasia and Spain being our largest genetic progenitors. The claims of the Irish being descended from Scota became the foundation of British Israelite “Judaism”, a British white supremacist cult who believe that English and Irish people are the true Jews. This cult also destroyed parts of Ireland archaeological history in a harebrained attempt to find the ark of the covenant in Tara. They’re essentially black Hebrew Israelites with less seasoning on their meats.
