Wicked, I didn't know some Bulgarians were into the Native American culture. I've been wanting to hit up Eastern Europe for sometime especially Bulgaria. LOL I've been trying to teach myself Bulgarian for a few years now. I think it's cool how you guys like to embrace the culture. I'm Mohawk & Ojibway. Kudos!

She:kon, thank you for the comment. How come that you've been studying Bulgarian. Most people think it is a name of some strange disease :) There are many europeans interested in native american cultures. I think this interest dates back from the first contacts. There are so many Europeans that were inspired by it, people like sir William Johnson, and generations after this interest is even stronger and i believe backed up with much better and profound understanding. I am among the few here in Bulgaria, inspired by the Haudenosaunee people as most people take interest in the cultures of the Plains.

+Sequoia Hill Thank you for the comment. As you see we are just few people that were for dancing so I had to be both singer and dancer and explain them the steps as the others are into the Plains cultures. You have a point for the inner and outer circle. I thought it was valid for Fishing and Rabbit song and not for the Alligator. I will keep it in mind for next time. You are a singer and dancer as i see. From Seneca nation?

Im a dancer from the Seneca nation which you are bulgarian you should stick to your own ways not our ways. you should listen to the songs more better to, to give you practice.

+gaendowa hill Niaweskano Gaendowa, Thank you for the comment. I understand your point. Once a Haudenosaunee man told me in this respect "This matter is like holding sand in your hand. The more you squeeze, the more it oozes out." The same is valid for a tradition. You can't prevent people from being interested, from being inspired, from being n love with your ways. You can prevent misunderstanding, misappropriation and so on by teaching right, by being active and pillars of your own culture. Many Iroquois people support what i do as long as I show good attitude and respect and don't play Indian like many other Europeans or Americans do. Anyway i think also that the fact that you have had for so long time a policy of adoption of foreign people in respect of survival or even if you take the situation with tribal identity and all this division between Full/Half/1/8 blooded confirms to me that it is not blood that matters for the cultural stability of a community but each individual's self-commitment and responsibility. So why such a big deal that i want to express my respect to the Longhouse people by learning and knowing your ways. Skenen

Ashton Monture Of course, but have in mind that this is Plains Indian camping and I am the only one in our group who has devoted his life to studying the iroquois.
