Honestly, there's a reason why people have pivoted to this style of content so much. Not just because of Sam's success, but the calm/straightforward nature of it makes it a much easier watch imo (assuming you're interesting enough too).

Much better format for me personally. Not that it should replace your normal format of training videos completely, but it is so refreshing and relaxing in this day and age to have longer and less edited videos. I can actually work out at home with this in the background, like I do with Sam Sulek's videos.

I'd prefer longer videos as well, it feels more intimate, just like some buddy would give you some advices. The short content is also very good when it comes to a deeper explanation, maybe you could insert some "health capsule" or quick dive-in within the normal video, not gonna lie just like your content in general, you're making Canadians so proud :3

For some reason, it seems to suit that you have chilled music whilst you train.😂 Love these style videos. For those that love strength training, it's much more natural. What you're thinking about at all those different stages of a session. Whilst putting your stuff on, just before a lift, just after, the rest in between, etc. Great stuff.

I believe he's getting attention from his type of videos being a breath of fresh air from fitness social media. That media consists of high energy/stimulus reels and showing off big achievements. Sam's content is calm and relaxed, and all he does it put in the work. It's stoic and inspiring, people tend to gravitate towards that, especially with the contrast to the more toxic fitness culture.

I’m 32, so I’ll speak from my perspective. He is humble and obsessed with bodybuilding. He is also pursuing/about to complete his college education, which I believe shows in his thought process in how he approaches bodybuilding. (I believe his major is in engineering iirc) That being said, he comes across a bit blue collar, an I relate to that as well. I personally appreciate that his blogs aren’t edited. It’s very similar to Rich Piana’s style, which I used to watch religiously. I always learned something from Rich in each of his videos and I usually have something positive to take away from each of Sam’s videos that I watch. The focus has been on bodybuilding and not commerce. This may change as he has recently signed with Hostile. (which I wouldn’t fault him for, but if he starts over plugging his merch I may lose a bit of interest) I think those are the key takeaways for me at this current moment.
