A famous Iftaar delicacy, #Haleem has its origin in the Middle East as well as in the Indian subcontinent. Mussy in texture and loaded with Ghee, Haleem is a rich street food available in the markets. It is a thick soup-like dish cooked with meat, pulses, and Ghee along with the spices. The dish is derived from the Arabian dish #Harees which means mash and is prepared with Meat and Lentil.

Boneless chicken - 500 grm
Red Lentils (Masoor Dal) - 2 TBSP
Pigeon pea Dal (Urad Dal) - 2 TBSP
Green gram (Moong Dal) - 2 TBSP
Bengal gram (chana Dal) - 2 TBSP
Oats - 2 TBSP
Basumathy Rice - 1 TBSP
Almonds - 9-10 nos
Wheat - 1 cup
Cummin seed (small) - 1/2 TSP
Cardamom - 5-6 nos
Cloves - 5-6 nos
Cinnamon sticks - 2 inch
Black pepper - 1 TSP
Chopped Onion - 2 nod
Ginger paste - 2 TBSP
Garlic paste - 2 TBSP
Chilli powder - 1/2 TSP
Coriander powder - 1/2 TSP
Turmeric powder - 1/2 TSP
Garam masala - 1 TSP
Salt to Taste
Coriander leaves - a bunch
Mint leaves - a bunch
Green Chilli - 2-3
Curd - 2 TBSP
Boiled Chicken water - 2-3 cup
Water - 2-3 cup
Lemon juice - 1 TBSP
Ghee - 3 TBSP
Fried Onion - 1 nos
Fried Cashew - 5-6 nos
