Priest basically follows the same formula for 9 albums strait with a few minor changes in production and heaviness. But the essential classic priest chug lives from sin after sin all the way to ram it down, then on painkiller they reinvent themselves.

You can ignore the bonus tracks from here on out. Those are not technically part of the album, so don't judge the albums based on those. Just judge the albums based on the official track listing only. If you enjoy a few of them, that is fine, but treat them as a bonus track only. I'm happy you love this album. There are even better albums so hold on tight. Keep in mind that there will be some bumps along the way. They liked to experiment from time to time. That said, enjoy the ride UUU.

He explicitely said he doesn't like the thrash beat, so Slayer and Anthrax out. I'm not a fan of Metalcore myself at all, but he enjoyed early All That Remains, so that's probably a good pick. Arch Enemy may be a little too much as of right now, seeing he didnt enjoy Gojira at all. And I'm not sure about Ghost BC. Could be very hit or miss. He loves operatic vocals, so I think Power Metal would be a good next stop.

Stained Class and Sad Wings of Destiny are their best albums. Sin After Sin has a few great tracks, but it's inconsistent. You're about to enter the "pop metal" era of Judas Priest.
