Real deal talent here. To me Juniot is so underrated its criminal. Back when country music had individual sounds and not like today's country : most every band sounds the same and most female singers sound like their whining.

I saw Jr Brown as an opening act @ the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas. He opened for some other act that opened for Alan Jackson. I was a bartender, and had to leave my post to see who the fuck this was. I wasn't a country fan until I saw him playing; my thought was "who the fuck is this country dude palying rock and roll?" amazing.

Yep he has been one of my biggest inspirations, I made my slides to get the best of both worlds. I have seen this guy in a few places way back when, myself a few people, he put on an amazing show, he can rip and also pretty nice guy.

Hey Junior is going to be in AThens Ga this month 8/18/2012 at the Melting Point, saw'ed him at the Freebird in Jacksonvile beach FL, just amazing to see... hope to be there... they also have Rochefort 10 in the bottle ... only 9 bucks... unbelievably good. Cheers

DAMN that boy can play. I have seen Junior many times but never the lovely Tanya Rae. He never fails to entertain. Talk about a guy who knows how to play that thing and not is all flash and volume. ROCK JUNIOR!!!!!! Gotta love the drummers and his massive kit, LOL

Thanks diony - I collect as many versions of Hank Garland's demonically original tune as I can find. Junior blows me away -so too ChetAtkins - but my fav. version is where Doc Watson and Duane Eddy incorporate Sugarfoot Rag into Thunder Road. (Track10: Thunder Road/Sugarfoot Rag on 'Docabilly' album) "Aww play it Duane.)

the only other guitarist I can think of who so brilliantly and musically meshes various different musical themes, Melodies and riffs into just one song was Danny Gatton. Rest in peace Danny we hardly knew ye.
