I was on that show as a trumpeter with the USAF Band. One of the highlights of 20 years of service. Bob Hope is amazing and his support for the military was inspiring. Also having the opportunity to have a meaningful conversation with Danny Thomas was memorable.

I was born, raised and served in the US Navy. I never met Bob Hope. But, every time I see this, I shed tears for what he did for all who served this country for generations. Hard to watch this each time since my glasses get messed up.

I wish I could have seen him live. *Luciano* *Pavarotti* is one of those lovable opera singers he's the kind of person that you wish you could hug and one you will cry to during his singing I have listened to him many times and everytime I do I get chills down my spine and I always feel like i'm going to cry Nessun Doma is my favorite song of his and I wish that one day when I die I will meet him in the opera house singing like never before. *Luciano* *Pavarotti* *Oct.* *12* *1935* ~ *Sept.* *6* *2007*

If Trump had hosted this prestigious annual tribute, most of the honorees would have refused to attend the event. (Speaks volumes.)

Only reason President Trump never attended was because the "honorees" said they would not attend if he did. You people need to get your facts straight.
